Founded in 1898, this Helsinki restaurant has changed premises several times but has kept its spirit. Regulars call it "Centu", and it is run by Restel. Classics include the Toast Skagen starter, mildly smoked salmon with chanterelle sauce, and chocolate served three ways with raspberry. There are also pizzas on a sourdough base.
The menu offers three-course set menus and à la carte dishes. Walk-ins are accepted, but reservations are recommended, especially in the evenings and at weekends. Food can be delivered or collected through Wolt. A private room seats up to 48, and dogs are welcome if kept close and on a lead. The entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
