This restaurant in the Forum shopping centre in Helsinki serves classic, traditional dishes such as vorschmack, beef brisket and sweetbread, as well as other offal dishes. Lunch always includes fish, meat, offal and home-style cooking, and the daily changing lunch menu offers 10 to 12 dishes. According to its website it has had loyal regulars for 38 years.
Tables cannot be booked for lunch. Dinner reservations are held for 15 minutes past the booked time, and a table is usually available for 2.5 hours. Guests with special diets or allergies are asked to say so in advance. The lunch menu can be requested by email. Seating and toilet are step-free, and the car park is paid.
