The first Lapland-themed restaurant in central Helsinki specialises in Lapland produce and fish dishes in a rustic setting. Head chef Harri Savolainen uses fresh Finnish ingredients, and the menu runs from starters, soup, mains and desserts to group menus and a seasonal menu, with a small wine list. The small Kelonkolo bar shares the premises.
Tables can be booked online, by phone or by email, though same-day bookings after 5 pm are by phone only. The Kammi private room takes groups of ten or more, with one set menu ordered at least three days ahead. Menus come in Finnish and English. The entrance, seating and toilets are accessible, and gift vouchers are sold online.
