This Helsinki sushi buffet opened in 2015, and in 2017 designer Elisa Korpijärvi renovated the interior, keeping a tiled floor that is more than 90 years old. Everything is made in an open kitchen: there are about 25 kinds of sushi at lunch and nearly 30 in the evening and at weekends, changing regularly, along with house special sushi and summer rolls made fresh rather than deep-fried.
The buffet includes daily salads, two soups (one is always tofu miso), dessert, and water, tea, coffee and lemonades. There are about ten vegetarian sushi options. Asahi beer, sake, umeshu plum liqueur, wine and cider are also served. Tables can be booked online or by phone, and takeaway is available.
