This City of Helsinki beach lies on the Vantaanjoki river, next to an allotment garden. It has a large lawn and a small sandy beach, and the water gets deep quickly. Facilities include a changing room, shower, toilet, outdoor exercise equipment, a basketball court and beach volleyball courts.
There are no lifeguards. In summer, water quality and blue-green algae updates appear on the ulkoliikunta.fi map. Poisonous water hemlock grows nearby and is marked with warning tape, but it does not restrict swimming. Parking is about 100 metres away on the east side of the allotments, and the beach can also be reached by public transport.
