Established in 1997, this self-defence section trains women and men aged 18 and over. Its beginner course covers the physical and mental aspects of common violent situations, body control and developing a regular exercise habit.
Training takes place at Tapanila Sports Centre. Advanced practice includes sparring with boxing gloves, shin guards and mouthguards. Membership and training do not include insurance; licence insurance through the national federation is recommended.
