This is the rectors' council of Finland's universities of applied sciences, an education policy lobby and cooperation forum. All 24 universities of applied sciences and their rectors are members. Its main task is to promote their common interests, develop the university of applied sciences system and increase cooperation and internationalisation between them.
The association advocates for higher education policy nationally and internationally, including election goals for the Finnish parliament. It supports the research, development and innovation work of the universities and publishes national career tracking surveys on graduates' employment and the relevance of their studies to working life. It also operates in Swedish.
