Founded in 1998, this professional animation association brings makers together and supports their professional identity, skills and position in society. It works with industry associations and educational institutions and promotes animation as an art form.
Activities include screenings, workshops and online courses. ASIFA membership maintains international links, while membership of Tekijäfoorumi connects it with creators' copyright issues. Its website publishes news on animation productions, festivals and industry events.
