Founded in 1990, the nationwide non-profit association supports children and young people and positive interaction with adults. It is politically and religiously independent and works with families and other people close to young people.
Walkers activities and vehicles reach young people where they spend time. Other work covers youth outreach in public spaces, conflicts, bullying prevention and crime-related issues. Training addresses emotional and interaction skills. Donations, supporting memberships and corporate partnerships help support the work.
