This Helsinki centre offers services and events in English and is run by the Finnish-British Society, which has 100 years of history, together with a language-teaching company. English courses range from conversation classes to private lessons, and companies can book business English training, translation and proofreading. It also prepares students for IELTS, Cambridge English, the Finnish Matriculation Examination and the YKI test, and teaches Finnish for work and everyday life.
Private lessons last 45 or 60 minutes and can be bought as bundles. Events in English include live music, talks and theatre trips, and you can join the society online. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
