Founded in 1919, the association serves engineers and architects living in Uusimaa. It works on employment conditions and professional interests, including collective bargaining through negotiating organisations, and cooperates with the Finnish Association of Engineers on educational content and student numbers.
Members can join events and training, including courses through the national association and Eduhouse. A holiday villa on Vartiosaari is available for members to rent. The office entrance is wheelchair accessible.
