Founded in 1947, the national non-profit association represents homeowners and cottage owners with local member associations. It works on property taxation, energy charges and housing legislation. Members receive advice on housing and house maintenance.
Services include a digital house maintenance book and related training, webinars, online courses and the quarterly Omakotilehti magazine. Individuals can join, and companies can become supporting members. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
