Operating since 1972, this nationwide organisation for children and younger teenagers runs clubs, camps and family events. Activities serve children, young people and families, with statutory before- and after-school provision in six municipalities.
Regional associations and local branches organise local activities, while the central organisation has a board and an office. Its values include fairness, encouragement, a child-centred approach and care. It receives funding from the Ministry of Education and Culture and is associated with the National Coalition Party without being a party member organisation.
