This national nature and environmental organisation for children and young people is the independent, politically non-partisan youth organisation of the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation. Founded in 1943, it organises nature camps, trips and school visits and supports a network of around 200 nature clubs. It has published the children's nature magazine Sieppo since 1984.
School visits take place in person or remotely for comprehensive, upper secondary and vocational schools. Regional branches offer local activities, while national working groups campaign on forests, climate, waters, endangered species and biodiversity. Activities follow safer-space principles.
