This national patient organisation supports people with kidney or liver disease, transplant recipients and their relatives. It brings together 18 member associations and provides peer support, information on illness and treatment, and organ transplant guidance.
Group courses and adjustment training are arranged for patients and relatives, alongside advice on social security. It publishes Elinehto-Livsvillkor magazine and a monthly newsletter and promotes organ donation through donor cards. Volunteer opportunities are available through the federation and local associations.
