The rural expert organisation's central body brings together around 750 local associations and over 20,000 members. Food, landscape and business services operate nationwide through eight district centres, advising food, natural product, tourism and Green Care sectors.
Services include hygiene plans and food hygiene proficiency certificates, plus artisan food workshops and competitions. The organisation publishes Koti ja maaseutu magazine, maintains a recipe collection and member-product online shop, and runs rural development projects.
