This non-profit association promotes Finnish food culture and the food chain. It owns the Hyvää Suomesta, or Good from Finland, origin mark, established in 1993, and monitors its use through audits. The mark requires food to be produced, processed and packaged in Finland.
Teachers can use its food education materials about the food chain. The association publishes food production and consumption statistics in Tietohaarukka and runs communication and development projects on Finnish food. Members represent industry, trade and agriculture.
