Founded in 1934, this nationwide organisation brings together built environment professionals, from students to doctoral graduates and holders of higher university of applied sciences degrees. With partners, it provides nearly 150 days of continuing education each year, publishes industry guides and handbooks, and represents members' interests.
It grants members competence qualifications for ordinary-demand construction tasks under the Building Act and provides secretariat services for competence committees. FISE Oy maintains the personal competence register. Members manage their details through a personal login, and publications are sold online.
