This is the national umbrella organisation of Finnish summer universities. Its purpose is to improve their operating conditions and manage their shared affairs.
Summer universities offer open university teaching, working-life training and general education courses, including courses for school-leavers and upper secondary students. The range also covers language courses, arts and culture education, science activities for children and young people, and university activities for older adults. They operate year-round in more than 30 locations and design customised training for organisations.
