Founded in 1998, this network association brings together communities for people recovering from mental health problems. Members and paid staff work as equals in 21 clubhouses from Maarianhamina to Rovaniemi. The model began in New York in 1948 and reached Finland in 1995.
Members pursue individual goals related to wellbeing, studies and working life. Nationwide online activities provide community participation and individual support. The association also publishes articles and blog posts.
