Founded in 1938, this umbrella organisation brings together regional art associations and artists' societies from Hanko to Rovaniemi. It reaches around 7,500 members through its member associations and advocates for visual artists through statements, projects and representation in arts bodies.
Activities include gallery and art-lending networks, exhibitions, artist residencies, training and course support. The organisation issues an artist membership card with benefits and awards a recognition prize.
