Active since 1963, this peace organisation promotes nuclear disarmament and the use of resources for welfare rather than armament. The antimilitarist, politically non-partisan association influences decision-makers, participates in expert working groups and works on peace and security issues.
Activities include seminars, discussions, demonstrations, cultural events and Finnish-language peace literature. Young people can take peace ambassador training on topics including mediation and arms control. Participation options include membership, activism, donations and a newsletter.
