Active since 1917, this Helsinki-based association is an expert voice on roads and traffic, highlighting how much roads and transport matter for Finland's competitiveness and wellbeing. It is the national advocate and adviser for private roads and road maintenance associations, helping members with questions such as how to interpret the Private Roads Act.
A private-road advice line is open to non-members too, and members have their own advice line. The association publishes the magazines Tie & Liikenne and Yksityistieuutiset and holds online lectures. You can join through the website, which is in Finnish, Swedish and English.
