This independent theatre community in Helsinki has been making questioning art since 1926 under professional leadership. Each year open auditions select a fresh intake of members, and the programme includes premieres, summer shows at the Mustikkamaa summer theatre, the Lyhärit short-play festival and guest performances.
Tickets are sold online through the community's ticket shop on Netticket. Anyone can join as a friend member, which comes with benefits. The website, also available in English, has accessibility information and a safer-space policy. The association is based in the Citykäytävä shopping passage.
