The University of Helsinki's Faculty of Educational Sciences carries out research in education, and its research-based teaching is given in Finnish, Swedish and English. Alongside degree programmes it offers supplementary and separate studies, continuing education, doctoral training and aptitude tests for teacher education, and its work includes training schools, international cooperation and school partnerships.
The faculty's doctoral defences are open to the public. The building has a step-free entrance, and accessible parking is available nearby.
