The regional office belongs to the trade union for private service sectors. The union negotiates collective agreements and assists members with pay, working hours, annual leave and dismissal matters. Members include shop assistants, cleaners, waiters, cooks, property maintenance workers and security guards.
Membership includes access to an unemployment fund and career and training services. Members can study in an online learning environment and use the member portal to update details, pay subscriptions and report unpaid leave. The office entrance is wheelchair accessible.
