The trade association represents around thirty sawmill companies across Finland, nearly all family businesses. Their timber serves construction, joinery, furniture and packaging industries.
The association publishes statements on legislation, climate and forestry policy, and timber construction. The website presents a forest environment programme and biodiversity work. Members have an extranet, and the website is available in Finnish and English.
