The university science museum's exhibition centre occupies the Seminarium building. The permanent exhibition Oi kuvatuksia ja mielijuohteita explores the university and its predecessors. The Tissari art collection, donated in 1984, includes Finnish 20th-century modernists, alongside changing themed exhibitions.
Guided visits for up to 30 people must be booked at least two weeks ahead. Educational packages cater for nursery and school groups, and campus tours are also offered. The building has a lift and an accessible first-floor toilet. A ramp covers the entrance step, but exhibition doorways have thresholds of about 30 mm. Accessible parking is available.
