The trade union for private service sectors negotiates around 30 collective agreements. It represents workers including shop assistants, cleaners, waiters, cooks, property maintenance workers and security guards. Shop stewards and employment advisers assist with pay, working hours, annual leave and dismissal.
Membership includes access to an unemployment fund and career and training services. Members have an online learning environment, and student membership is available. The online member service allows contact updates and reports of unpaid leave.
