Founded in 1958, the outdoor sports association belongs to Suomen Latu, Finland's national outdoor organisation, and the Kymi-Vuoksi trail area. Activities include skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, Nordic walking, walking, cycling and forest outings. Children can take part in Metsämörri outdoor activities, Moomin hiking and skiing schools and family adventures.
Services are also available to businesses, schools, day-care centres and other organisations. The association works with municipalities and other associations on outdoor recreation. Membership includes Suomen Latu benefits and the Latu&Polku magazine four times a year.
