The local branch of the Finnish transport workers' union brings together workers covered by collective agreements in its area. Its priorities include working conditions, pay, occupational safety and professional development. It also supports members' cultural and sporting activities.
Members can take part in recreational activities and a floorball session at Minna Canth school. The office opens only as needed, so contact is by phone or email. A regional representative is available when required.
