Founded in 1975, the environmental science student association operates at the University of Eastern Finland campus. Activities include sports trials, exercise, company visits, excursions and academic dinner parties known as sitsit. Graduates can join an alumni club.
The members' lounge has study materials, sofas and computers. Events follow safer-space principles, with an anonymous harassment reporting form available. Environmental science students can visit the city museum's exhibitions with a student card. The Melania building has an accessible entrance and car park.
