The mental health association offers peer support for adults in North Savo. Activities focus on the period after treatment and rehabilitation, when public services become less frequent. Peer supporters draw on their own experience of illness.
The association runs Hyvän Mielen Talo, the KIMARA meeting place in Kaavi and a peer group in Tuusniemi. Groups can be attended without membership. Members have priority in some exercise groups and events.
