Founded in 2008, the local association carries out Christian social work as part of national ViaDia ry and the Free Church of Finland. Its Jelppi health advice point serves people who inject drugs and their relatives. Etsikko supports people with substance dependence, those released from prison and people with criminal backgrounds towards a substance-free life.
Jelppi can be used under a pseudonym, regardless of home municipality. There are opportunities to volunteer and support the association's work.
