The family carers' support organisation provides information on services and support schemes, advice, guidance and emotional support. It acts as a regional family-care expert in South Karelia and organises peer support, recreation, excursions and events.
Membership is open to family carers and anyone interested in caring issues. It includes membership of the national family carers' association and its Lähellä magazine. Individuals, businesses and organisations can also become supporting members.
