Active for over 70 years, the local heritage association records the area's traditions, history and present-day life. It runs local history, school, mill and smithy museums and works with other associations on the living environment and residents' wellbeing.
Membership applications can be made on the website. Local history publications, including stories and anecdotes, are sold through the office, chairperson or secretary. The local history museum opens in summer, with special visits possible in May and September.
