Founded in Alastaro in 1994, the association promotes genealogy and personal history research. It connects people living in or researching the Loimijoki valley and organises lectures, discussions, advice, study trips, courses and exhibitions.
It collects and publishes research material and the periodical Loimijoki Lastut. Copies can be obtained from the secretary, the local heritage association office, the local history museum in summer or by email order. Contributions can also be submitted by email.
