The café-restaurant is housed in a former school building from 1889 and belongs to the Sodan ja rauhan keskus Muisti museum complex. On weekdays it serves a lunch of soup of the day, a salad buffet, a hot main course and dessert. Coffee, tea, pastries and a wartime-recipe substitute coffee are also on offer, and wine and soft drinks are served with meals under a full alcohol licence.
Lunch can be taken away. There are about 75 seats indoors and about 20 on the summer terrace, plus a 25-seat meeting room with a screen and meeting technology. Catering is available for graduations, christenings, memorial events and weddings, and celebration cakes can be ordered. Cash, common cards and the Edenred, Epassi and Eazybreak lunch benefits are accepted. Seating, entrance, toilet and parking are wheelchair accessible.
