Founded in 1975, the bilingual riding club brings together Finnish- and Swedish-speaking riders from beginners to competitors. Members take part in dressage, show jumping, eventing and carriage driving. Around a third of its roughly 300 members are under 18.
It organises competitions, coaching and information events, and operates the Kokonniemi competition ground, which can be hired. Equestrian Federation membership includes accident insurance for riding lessons and related activities. The club works with local stables, clubs and businesses.
