Founded in 1931, the scout group has about 150 members and offers activities for ages 7 to 22, plus family scouting for preschool children and their parents. Adults also have a separate group. Activities include hiking, sailing, orienteering, first aid and cooking over campfires and on camping stoves.
Trips take place in forests and at sea, with an emphasis on caring for the environment. Meetings use the basement of the parish office building and a youth centre space. Adult volunteers need no previous scouting experience, as training in scouting skills is provided.
