Operating since 1988, the mental health association serves people in recovery, relatives and supporters. Its alcohol- and drug-free Hyvän Mielen talo meeting place offers peer support, hobby groups, outings and events, plus internet and newspaper access. The association rents nine apartments to people in recovery, with housing-related peer support.
No referral, membership or appointment is needed at the meeting place. Weekday lunches require advance registration by phone. Members can help develop the activities. The house provides a wheelchair-accessible entrance and an accessible car park.
