This church in Tampere belongs to the city's Southern Parish and was built in two stages: the parsonage and parish house in 1949 and the main hall in 1972, all designed by architects Elma and Erik Lindroos. The pillared bell tower beside it (1949) is a local landmark. The steel cross that serves as the altarpiece and the 21-stop organ by Kangasalan Urkutehdas both date from 1972.
The main hall seats up to 270 people and the parish hall 90, and a folding door joins the two. Mass is held on Sundays. A ramp leads to the main door, with an accessible toilet nearby, and the building has an induction loop and large-print and braille hymnbooks. Parking, including accessible spaces, is nearby.
