Completed in 1932, this Tampere church was consecrated on 29 May that year by Bishop Jaakko Gummerus, who called it an everyday church. Architect Yrjö Waskinen designed it in 1920s classicism, and the Finnish Heritage Agency sees it as an early combination of a place of worship, parish offices and parish house. The ceiling shows the four evangelists painted by Eino Kauria and Eino Rappi, and the Risen Christ, a gilded wooden figure about 3 m tall, is by Väinö Rikhard Rautalin.
It seats 350 and the parish hall 60, with a baptism chapel downstairs. The entrance and parking are step-free, a platform lift serves the parish hall, and wheelchair spaces are near the altar.
