This building is one of three that house a City of Tampere school for grades 1 to 9, alongside the Ahvenisjärvi and Kanjoni buildings. Families and staff keep in touch through Wilma, and the lunch menu is published online.
The main floor is level with the entrance, reached by a level, wide and lit route. The main entrance has a canopy and lighting, but its doors are heavy to open. The side entrance has at least four steps with handrails on both sides, plus a ramp. Thresholds are over 2 cm high, and the door of one accessible toilet is narrow. There is one accessible parking space more than 10 metres from the entrance.
