Run by the City of Tampere, this children's cultural centre is in the Laikku cultural house, with its main entrance facing Tampere Theatre. It hosts art workshops and events, children's exhibitions change about four times a year, and the youngest have their own space called Terra.
Entry is free and a guide is on hand, but children under 10 must come with a responsible adult. There are family clubs, art lessons for over-5s and family culture courses. You can eat your own food in the customer kitchen. A visit usually takes 45 minutes to 2 hours. Two accessible parking spaces are by the entrance, the door is automatic and the toilet is accessible, though the approach is a steep hill.
