Tampere Hall, a congress and concert centre completed in 1990, hosts more than a thousand events, concerts and meetings a year. It is home to the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, Tampere Opera and Tampere Live, and also houses the world's only Moomin Museum. The Maestro hall has a full-wall window onto Sorsapuisto park.
Concert tickets should be bought online in advance. Restaurant Tuhto serves Moomin menus and a Moomin brunch, and the shop sells Moomin products. The Courtyard by Marriott hotel has direct access to the main lobby. The building has held the Nordic Swan Ecolabel since 2014. The entrance and toilets are step-free, baby changing is available and parking is paid.
