This late-19th-century villa on the shore of Lake Pyhäjärvi in Tampere is a participatory cultural centre run by Pirkanmaan rakennuskulttuuriyhdistys, a regional building heritage association. It has three galleries: one in the hall, one in the café and Galleria Lastenkirja, devoted to children's books. A branch of the Pispala library and workspaces are also here, and events and concerts are held.
Exhibitions and concerts are free to attend. There is a lunch café, and the sauna is open to visitors on certain days. A visit usually takes 45 minutes to 2.5 hours. The entrance is not step-free, though the toilet is accessible and so is part of the car park. Street parking is free.
