Opened in 1998, this Tampere museum calls itself the world's first museum devoted to espionage and the only one of its kind in Finland. Topics include eavesdropping, invisible ink, network espionage, the KGB, the Cold War, SOE agents and lie detection, and there is an interrogation room. It is on the ground floor of the Media 54 building in the Finlayson area.
A guided tour of about an hour is included in the ticket. The Agent Test has eight tasks and a diploma for those who pass, and children get a Junior Agent Test and spy gadgets to try. Groups can book a lie detector test, spy school or stag party online. It is open daily all year, access is step-free, and the Museum Card is accepted.
