This Art Nouveau building in Tampere was designed by Gustaf Nyström and completed in 1901 as an office of Suomen Yhdyspankki, which stayed until 1938; the city then bought it for offices. In 1967 the Tampere University student union TAMY moved in and the house became a well-known concert venue, where Juice Leskinen & Coitus Int played their first official gig in 1973. After the union left in 2013, it hosted musical theatre, stand-up and club nights.
The building closed to the public in summer 2024. Its owner since 2022, the education consortium Sasky, plans a renovation with a learning space for about 120 hair and beauty students and a street-level restaurant.
