This Tampere courtyard dates back to the 19th century, when mill owner Wilhelm von Nottbeck had it built in the Finlayson area for his horses and their keepers. Today its buildings house small shops selling handicrafts, homeware, delicacies and chocolates, and a nostalgic café serves home-baked treats.
Entry is free, and events are held throughout the year. Visiting animals appear from time to time, with their schedule on the events page. The café stays open after the shops close. Parking, the entrance, seating and toilets are accessible, but there is no hearing loop.
